First of the flasback and renovations from old blog. Here is brand spanking new instagram photopoetry version.  The photo was taken by me on the volunteering holiday at the river Emajõgi. The "Mother River" of Estonia. The photo was entered into a Estonian Nature Photo competition where it was good enough to be on display. The subject of Odin I am not sure why I chose but maybe one day I will visit the island of Osmussaar where it said he is buried

Identity

Here is some art I made with culture in mind. The language is
Kwak̓wala (some phrases here). A language that people are trying to save and rediscover some old words.

More and more people speak English, but everyone speaking the same language isn't really a good thing. With loss of language we lose a different view of the world, cultures , identities, history and even knowledge.  I am just a humble poet so there are better places for you to read about it.
But even your own use of your language will be part of your identity.

Welcome to this blog of adventure , creativity, photography, poetry, identity and the world.

Back in 2009 I started a blog with a friend I met whilst volunteering. https://palupohja2009.blogspot.com/ This was poetry creativity and adventures through Estonia mainly, but a few other countries thrown in. It included our poetry and pictures

Now some of these entries are feeling a little ruined as links to photos are lost etc. So here I am back to revamp them and add new adventures around the world and back to Estonia again.
